Sliding Stage for Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn Ltd.

After the first delivery 9 years ago, we were allowed to deliver further RM 616 transfer tables for the Be 570 in March 2021. The transfer tables were developed for the Be 510 multiple unit by SZU (Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn AG) in order to be able to operate under 2 different power systems. The alternating current overhead contact line of the Sihltal line is located centrally above the tracks. The DC overhead contact line of the Uetliberg line, on the other hand, is shifted to the side. At the simple push of a button, the entire transfer table, including the pantograph, can be moved sideways.

SZU is the only railway company in Switzerland to have two different overhead line systems. overhead line systems.
