What can you expect?
During your apprenticeship, you will gain an insight into various departments within the company and get to know the commercial areas of responsibility in the electrical and metal industry. You will process correspondence independently and meet customer requirements. You will enter orders into the system and create order confirmations and shipping documents. In Purchasing, you will ensure that materials are purchased on time and in the required quality and quantity. You will also be responsible for various administrative tasks, welcoming our guests, planning meetings, organizing events and managing the time system. In accounting, you will process invoices, keep track of incoming and outgoing payments and help with the month-end closing.
Vocational baccalaureate
If you perform very well at school, you can also attend vocational baccalaureate school during or after your basic vocational training. The vocational baccalaureate enables you to go on to study at a university of applied sciences, with or without an examination, depending on the field of study.
What you bring with you
- Completed elementary school (district or secondary level)

Professional school
- You go to the KV Aarau commercial school
- 2 days per week in the 1st + 2nd year of apprenticeship, 1 day per week in the 3rd year of apprenticeship (2 days with professional baccalaureate)
Career prospect
- A specialist certificate or a higher professional examination, for example in marketing, purchasing or finance
- Completion of a higher technical college in any commercial field
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
