    4-year apprenticeship

    What do you do as a polymechanic?

    As a polymechanic, you are involved in the development, manufacture and assembly of tools, equipment parts or entire production plants. You work with various metals, plastics and composite materials. You work manually on lathes, milling machines, drilling machines and grinding machines when producing individual parts or prototypes. Computer-controlled machines are also used.

    3-year apprenticeship

    What do you do as a production mechanic?

    As a production mechanic, you master metalworking techniques such as drilling, turning and milling. You work with various metals, plastics and composites. You manufacture parts, tools and devices for machines or systems and then assemble them. You read technical drawings, prepare the necessary tools and materials and monitor production. You work on numerically controlled machining centres.

    3-year apprenticeship

    What do you do as a logistician?

    As a logistician, you are responsible for ensuring that goods and other commodities are delivered on time to internal and external customers.  You unload, check and book the delivered goods with the help of a computer. You prepare storage and supply them in the warehouse. You check stock levels, recount and carry out stock transfers. During your training, you will acquire the SUVA-recognised forklift driver's licence. With an apprenticeship at Richard AG, you decide to specialise in warehousing.
